Rocketfuel Wings – Rock the Sauce from Mild to Wild

My first time going there with my sister and the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They were patient and even let us sample a couple of their various sauces they offered on the menu (homemade too). Now as for the food… amazing!!! Always fresh, always hot, and always delicious. The Potato Bon Bombs are delicious and the fried zucchini is too!!They don’t let you leave unhappy or hungry, def adding to my list Ironbound food gems. Also, extremely decent prices. Coming back to try their bone-in wings. I always walk past this place and decided to try on a whim and glad I did. Try and come here for a lunch if you can, hey serve you quickly and like 10 min walk from Newark Penn.

Lemon pepper wings well done , 10/10. Cooked to perfection and seasoned all around. Hats off to the cook, Erwin ! I wasn’t expecting the fries to be like chips but I loved it anyways , as some of the seasoning from the wings added a nice touch to them. George the owner was a great host. He introduced us to fried cheesecake which was also really good and different. Will definitely be back

This was a 1000/10 experience! George is very kind and goes above and beyond to please his customers. We loved the Mac and cheese balls and the wings are amazing! We tried his sauces and they were so good especially if you like spicy food. Definitely would come back again! Everything was very good no complaints!

The owners are the coolest guys you'll ever meet & they've got the crunch down to a science for sure! I have never experienced better Zucchini sticks anywhere. The macaroni & cheese bombs are insanely good. The Raspberry Scorcher wings were delicious. A perfect balance of sweet & spice if you like more heat. I can't wait to go back. I am absolutely trying everything on the menu. The customer service alone is worth the trip. Great people, Great Service & Great eats, this is my kind of establishment.

the place’s interior as well as its exterior were decorated astonishingly. as soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the restaurant’s owner who made us feel so welcomed and heard. he was the best at suggesting us things on the menu, as it was our first time there. he even made sure to add on more wings than we ordered. the wings were amazing, crispy, well-seasoned, and with the sauces it was like a cherry on top. the atmosphere and food were amazing, i 100% recommend.

We sought out this place based on reviews, and are very glad we did so! Service was warm and welcoming. We were given the opportunity to taste the sauces before ordering, and even a free appetiser whilst waiting for our meal. The food was clearly fresh and perfectly prepared.Lemon pepper was my absolute favourite, but based on the three flavours of wings we had I’d say you can’t really go wrong. Highly recommend the corn ribs as well.We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Although we will try to be hungrier so we can sample even more varieties!

I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday for their Wednesday Wing special. I have driven past this location multiple times and kept saying, I need to try it. Finally made it and the wait was well worth it. My customer experience was the best. The owners and the cook were so friendly. The allowed me and my guest sample the wings sauces. They also allowed us to taste the soup (that potato and chicken soup is everything). The chili is very yummy and I don't even like chili. LOL!! Can I just say that the wings by themselves taste good but when you add the sauces it just heightens the flavors that much more. I was not disappointed in anything. The fried cheese is also very good. I highly recommend and will frequent often. Also, the vibe and ambiance is very chill and relaxing. The music was old school favorites and classics but upbeat and was a nice added touch.

The most hospitable service I've gotten in a while. The owner, Jeff, and I had a chat while waiting for my food and I was told the story of how the place became a restaurant in the first place. Along with this, I had forgotten my wallet the first time I came in but, was allowed to come back another day to pay (bless Marc). Which I did and bought more food and trust me, I'll be back soon now.Now with having tried two things I can say the food is stellar here. The wings are big and have an amazing flavor alone. With their sauces its knocked up even higher!As for their sandwiches the asian pork belly sandwich was delicious, would highly recommend. And putting the sauces and toppings on the side to keep the bread crispy was smart as hell. Crispy chicken sandwich was just as good, and the coleslaw made it just heavenly.Anyways, I'm rambling on and on but I really can't put my whole amazing experience at this place in one small review. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its food and service

What can I say , all the guys over at Rocketfuel wings were very welcoming . The owner greeted me personally and had me test out all of his sauces with his employees. They had us sample all of the soups and chili which in my opinion were GREAT ! The wings were very juicy and crunchy , and not to mention his lemon pepper wings are honestly 10/10 !Bread pudding desert and sweet potatoes waffle fries are also good !Please try everything this place is 10/10 in all factors when it comes to food and customer service ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

New spot, still doing some interior work, but open for business and looks great, bright and clean.Been there twice, first trip had the 10 piece with raspberry scorcher sauce, excellent. If you sample the sauce, which they offer, don't be scared by the heat, it's tamed down a little once it's on the wings. Good stuff.Was given a friend zucchini sampler to try, wow! Awesome stuff, lightly breaded and fried, crunchy on outside, soft inside. Excellent, and I would never even give "fried zucchini sticks" a look on the menu.2nd trip, ordered the zucchini stick, excellent again, and went with the 10 piece blueberry BBQ sauce, again, good stuff.Lots of flavors to try, and definitely some you haven't had before. Lots of drink options. Limited seating inside.Will be back, alot..
